Q: My friend has a 4 year old toy poodle that she has had since he was a pup. He has always been a very, very sweet dog and has never shown aggression until recently. The first time he bit her was a few weeks ago when she went to pet him while he was trying to sleep.
Either the dog is hurt in pain or put the cat outside.most dogs become agressive and start biting when they hurt or have a problem.if not then its jelous,of the cat and is doing that to show how unhappy it is.cats will always come home if let ouside.try speerating them see how the dogs acts.
doesn't sound like it's the cat thats the problem if the dog bit while trying to sleep. It may be in pain of some sort. I would get the vet to check him out.
